Terms, Conditions & Warranty

Issued to every Mobile Dent Masters customer upon completion of the job and receipt of full payment.

18-Month Workmanship & Paintwork Warranty

Mobile Dent Masters warrants all completed repair work for a period of eighteen (18) months from the date of completion, against the defects listed below, subject to the conditions in this document.

What is covered

  • Paint peeling, flaking or lifting from the repaired area.
  • Paint cracking or crazing on the repaired panel.
  • Excessive fading or discolouration of the repaired paintwork beyond normal weathering.
  • Loss of adhesion of filler, primer, base coat or clear coat applied by us.
  • Re-emergence of the original dent or push-back of paintless dent removal (PDR) work.
  • Workmanship defects directly attributable to our repair process.

What is NOT covered

  • New damage, accidents, stone chips, hail or impacts occurring after completion.
  • Damage caused by automatic car washes, harsh chemicals, abrasive polishes or improper cleaning.
  • Rust originating from areas outside the repaired zone, or pre-existing rust disclosed to the customer.
  • Fading or colour mismatch on vehicles with significant pre-existing sun damage or oxidised factory paint.
  • Damage caused by neglect, accident, modification or third-party repair work performed after our service.
  • Vehicles repainted, wrapped or modified on the repaired panel after our work.
  • Wear-and-tear, environmental fallout (tree sap, bird droppings, industrial fallout) left untreated.

Conditions of the warranty

  • The vehicle must remain under the ownership of the original customer; the warranty is non-transferable.
  • Full payment for the original repair must have been received.
  • The customer must notify Mobile Dent Masters in writing (WhatsApp or email) within 14 days of noticing any defect.
  • The vehicle must be made available for inspection before any remedial work is authorised.
  • Repairs under warranty will be carried out by Mobile Dent Masters; reimbursement for third-party repairs is excluded unless agreed in writing beforehand.

1. Scope of Service

Mobile Dent Masters provides mobile paintless dent removal (PDR), minor dent repair, scratch removal, paintwork touch-ups and related cosmetic vehicle repair services at a location agreed with the customer.

2. Quotations & Pricing

Quotations are based on the information and photos supplied by the customer. Final pricing may be adjusted on inspection if the damage is more extensive than represented. Any change will be communicated and approved before work commences.

3. Bookings & Cancellations

Bookings are confirmed once a date, time and location are agreed. Cancellations within 24 hours of the booked time may incur a call-out fee to cover travel and reserved labour.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, level, accessible working area with adequate space around the vehicle.
  • Disclose any pre-existing damage, previous repairs or repaints to the affected panel.
  • Remove personal valuables from the vehicle before work begins.
  • Ensure access to power and water where reasonably required.

5. Limitations of Repair

While we use industry-leading techniques, certain dents (sharp creases, damage on edges or body lines, severely stretched metal) and certain paint conditions (oxidised, faded, previously repainted panels) may not be restored to factory-new condition. We will explain expected outcomes before starting.

6. Payment

Full payment is due on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted methods: EFT, card and cash. This document and the warranty become effective only once payment has been received in full.

7. Liability

Mobile Dent Masters' liability under any claim is limited to the cost of the original repair. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of use of the vehicle.

8. Privacy

Personal information collected (name, contact details, vehicle details, photos of the damage) is used solely to provide the service, fulfil the warranty and communicate with the customer. We do not sell customer data to third parties.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
